Here are a few things you will need to get started!!

A crochet hook (This set is my fave!)

A bit of yarn (Red Heart is my go-to when learning)

Aren’t these gorgeous?

Once you have these things you are ready to roll! If you don’t have these things Amazon is your friend! Click the pictures above to purchase right from Amazon! Quick and Easy!

You should know that yarn weight and hook size are important and should correspond to one another but we will get into that later.

YouTube is an excellent place to learn how to crochet. There are many how-to videos and even project videos from start to finish.

Here are a few to get you started:

I personally had some trouble with chains and getting started and this YouTuber was a lifesaver for me, SimplyDaisy.

Another awesome place to start is with Mikey from CrochetCrowd. He has an abundance of videos and tutorials and is just fun to watch. Check him out here.

If at this very moment you are like “Woah, Kristina! This is awesome but way too much information. I just want to MAKE something!”

If you’ve got your yarn your hook and your scissors… it’s time to make, laugh and learn!

I suggest this easy beginner crochet washcloth.

You got this. Let’s create something awesome!
